First Aid for All is on the way

Hello and welcome to Actions for Survival brand new project First Aid for All, a community-based project. We have set this up for two reasons the first is to offer a compliant first aid course that has been approved for use by New Zealand Qualifications Authority (NZQA) and the standard setting body Skills.org. Both organisations have approved this program as meeting the requirements for a workplace first aid course. The second reason for the development of this course is to afford the opportunity to all New Zealanders the chance of training to a workplace standard completely free of charge. Yes, you read that correctly completely free of charge.

For those wishing to achieve a formal workplace qualification from a Category 1 registered and accredited provider at a ridiculously affordable price, you are in the right place. Not only that but if you are one of the chosen organisations this project allows for the generation of funds for a jointly agreed community-based project. One of our desires is to generate funds to ensure that there is at least one defibrillator in every school in the country and on every marae.

This is an exciting project where we have joined forces with a number of partners who are assisting us to make this project to come alive. We are all passionate about this and at the end of the day what can be better than assisting someone to save another person’s life.
