Our charity, The Rock Vets in conjunction with Pakuranga & Whitford Vets send a team of Vets and Nurses to Niue each year to run a charity vet clinic

Niue is one of the smallest Islands in the South Pacific. Known as “The Rock of Polynesia”, it has a population of an estimated 1,450 humans and many more dogs and cats. There is an additional 20,000 Niuean’s living in New Zealand.

Niue does not have a Veterinary Clinic.

Our mission is to provide much needed veterinary care to the increasing population of animals. We also hope to desex as many cats and dogs as possible in the short time that we spend on the island each visit.

We are a registered charity so all funds given to us via fundraising efforts go directly to purchase drugs & supplies for our Niue clinic & also pays for the team’s flights & accommodation.  The staff use their own annual leave to go along to help.
