Hyperventilation or over breathing is a condition where a person starts to breathe faster and deeper than usual.

This leads to disproportionate levels of carbon dioxide being exhaled from the body resulting in increased levels of oxygen.

Hyperventilation can result from a psychological condition such as a panic attack.

If at any time you become concerned or there is a history of breathing problems call for medical assistance.
